Who is it for?
My practice in Szczecin is open to anyone motivated to bring positive change into their life. I support individuals experiencing difficulties related to anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, interpersonal challenges, or any situations causing distress and dissatisfaction.
Common reasons to seek psychotherapy:
How does it work?
Initial Consultation
The first consultation focuses on defining the issues you are facing. During this assessment phase, I primarily listen and ask questions regarding your current life situation.
Setting Goals
Next, we work together to set realistic therapeutic goals. While some clients come with a clear idea of what they want to address, others may need time to identify specific and achievable objectives for our work.
Assessment & Understanding
During this stage, the diagnostic process begins, allowing us to accurately identify and define the problem. The goal of a psychotherapeutic assessment is to understand the underlying causes of the issue and determine the most effective methods and treatment plan.
Therapeutic Agreement (Contract)
Once we agree on the framework for our work—including practical details such as session frequency and scheduling—we begin the psychotherapy process.
First Meeting
For the initial consultation, I invite the young person together with both parents (or legal guardians). This meeting gives us the opportunity to identify the core issues, discuss expectations, and outline preliminary therapy goals. Following this consultation, we begin individual sessions with the teenager.
Parent & Guardian Involvement
As therapy progresses, parents (or legal guardians) are occasionally invited to join joint sessions. The purpose of these discussions is to improve family communication and provide mutual feedback on the progress and outcomes of the therapy.
Living away from your home country and familiar surroundings can be challenging. A new environment, different culture, language barriers, and being away from the people and places you know may sometimes intensify existing difficulties or bring new ones to the surface. If you find yourself struggling, you do not have to deal with it on your own. Seeking psychological support can be a helpful step towards understanding what you are experiencing and finding ways to cope.
Do I need to speak English perfectly?
No. Your English does not need to be perfect to benefit from psychotherapy. When speaking in a language that is not your primary one, it is completely normal to sometimes search for the right word, pause to express yourself, or describe feelings in a less direct way. This is a natural part of communicating in a second language.
However, a sufficient level of English to communicate clearly is necessary, as dialogue is a fundamental tool in the therapeutic process. What matters most is being able to share what you are experiencing and to understand each other well enough to work together.
If you feel that you could benefit from psychological support, I encourage you to get in touch to discuss whether psychotherapy in English is right for you.

I provide psychological support and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents in my practice in Szczecin.
I mainly work within the psychodynamic approach, while with younger patients I use an integrative approach, combining tools from different therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural and systemic therapy.
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Szczecin. I also completed a two-year postgraduate programme at the Department of Psychotherapy at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. This qualification enables me to provide psychotherapy under supervision, including in public healthcare institutions operating within the National Health Fund (NFZ).
I am currently completing training at the School of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy of the Krakow Centre for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. This is a specialist postgraduate training programme recommended by the Polish Psychological Association.
In order to maintain professional standards and continuously reflect on my clinical work, I regularly undergo supervision with a certified supervisor of the Polish Psychological Association.
Due to the lack of legislation currently in force regulating the professions of psychologist and psychotherapist in Poland, and the resulting difficulty for patients in verifying the qualifications of people providing psychotherapeutic treatment and psychological support, I would like to emphasise that I obtain my professional qualifications at state universities and at centres accredited by professional associations bringing together professionals in the fields of psychology and psychiatry, whose aim is to maintain standards of treatment in Poland.
The aim of therapy in my practice is to create an atmosphere in which patients can gradually, feeling safe and comfortable, speak honestly about their experiences and thoughts. During therapy, we work together to find solutions and answers to existing problems and needs. The aim of each therapy is to help patients develop the ability to cope independently and satisfactorily in the future and, simply put, to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
I offer psychological consultations and psychotherapy in English as well as in Polish.
If English is the language in which you feel most comfortable talking about your experiences, you are welcome to contact me.
